Application & Removal

✨ Tips for Best Results

  • Avoid oil-based products right after application

  • Avoid placing your hands in water right after application for lasting wear

  • Press along the sides of each nail for extra security

  • If a nail lifts, reapply a small amount of glue instead of removing it

  • Store leftover nails in a safe place for future use

How to Apply Your Press-On Nails

Getting salon-quality nails at home is easier than you think. Follow these simple steps for the best fit and longest wear.

1. Prep Your Natural Nails

Start with clean, dry nails. Gently push back your cuticles and lightly buff the surface of each nail using a nail file. This removes shine and helps the press-ons adhere properly.

2. Clean the Nail Bed

Use an alcohol prep pad to wipe each nail thoroughly. This removes oils, dust, and residue so your press-ons can bond securely and last longer.

3. Size Your Nails

Before applying glue, match each press-on to your natural nail. Each nail should fit snugly from sidewall to sidewall without overlapping your skin.

4. Apply the Glue

Add a small drop of nail glue to your natural nail. For extra hold, you can also apply a thin layer to the back of the press-on nail.

5. Press and Apply

Align the press-on with your cuticle first, then gently press down from the base toward the tip. This helps avoid air bubbles and ensures a smooth fit.

6. Hold in Place

Press firmly for 10–30 seconds per nail to secure the bond.

7. Let Them Set

Avoid water, oils, or heavy hand use for at least 1–2 hours after application to allow the glue to fully cure.

How to Safely Remove Your Press-On Nails

When it’s time for a new set, remove your nails gently to keep your natural nails healthy and strong.

1. Lift the edges

Begin by gently lifting the corners of each press-on using a cuticle pusher. Only create a small gap—no forcing or pulling.

2. Soak your nails

Place your hands in warm water with a gentle dish soap. You can also add a small amount of baby oil to help loosen the adhesive.

3. Slowly remove each nail

After soaking, use your cuticle pusher to gently and slowly lift each nail. Work one nail at a time and take your time.

4. Repeat if needed

If a nail doesn’t come off easily, soak again for a few more minutes and retry. Patience prevents damage.

✨ Optional Removal Method

You can also use a nail glue remover for an easier and faster breakdown of adhesive if preferred.
